Jeep Safari-Dalaman

Jeep Safari The Mediterranean region of Turkey is a true eye opener - gorgeous scenery, interesting natural attractions and friendly locals, and the best way to see all this region has to offer is by joining a jeep safari.

Jeep safaris are a very popular excursion for tourists staying in the main resorts in South West Turkey. They're exciting and good fun. Passengers sit in the back of the open jeeps and enjoy the exhilarating ride, take part in water fights and generally muck about. It's a great way to see the stunning Turkish countryside.

Travel in a convoy through rural Turkish country side up to the famous ruins of Tlos, the oldest Lycian city in the area and wonder at its rock tombs. Stop for photographs and get introduced to our group. Twist and turn onwards towards Saklikent Gorge stopping on way to visit the popular Yakapark trout farm. We next stop at the gorge, the longest in Europe and allow you to explore on foot or in the water, deep into its rock canyons.

The safari snakes through an exciting route of winding roads, a few narrow dirt roads where 2 vehicles cannot easily pass each other.

The road passes through dense pine forests, the trees soaring up 20 meters. Road hazards include flocks of sheep and traditionally dressed village women. After the dirty and dusty trail the refreshing dip in the local waterfall, hidden amongst the trees, is well worth the walk up the hill. As you jump into the crystal cool waters of the Selale you feel the grime just wash away.
